App Deal
Terms and Conditions

​​1. OUR OBLIGATIONS (As Holiday Happenings)
Apon accepting your deal it is agreed that:
1.1 Holiday Happenings WILL promote your deal on our iPhone & iPad App (Ref to Section 4 for details)

1.2 Holiday Happenings MAY also choose to promote your deal using the following additional methods:
1.2.1 Booklet Advertising. Which refers to your business potentially being highlighted in the print and digital booklets as having a deal available for Holiday Happenings App users.
​
1.2.1 Website Advertising. Which refers to the potential display of your business logo and/or deal information on the Holiday Happenings website.
1.2.2 Social Media Advertising. Which refers to the potential display of your business logo and/or deal information over any social media account (Facebook, Instagram etc) held by Holiday Happenings.
1.2.3 Email Advertising. Which refers to the potential display of your business logo and/or deal information in any promotional email sent from Holiday Happenings to its booklet readers and app users.
1.2.4 Word of Mouth Advertising. Which refers to the potential promotion of your deal/s by Holiday Happenings staff during their communication and interaction with the public.

1.3 Any promotional method used by Holiday Happenings will only consist of material and/or content that has been provided or
pre-approved by your business.

1.4 For every user who redeems your deal through our app, Holiday Happenings will give you $5 credit up to the following total:
​
$40 - If your print advertisement was a 1/4 page
​​
$80 - If your print advertisement was a 1/2 page
​​
$115 - If your print advertisement was a 3/4 page
​​
$155 - If your print advertisement was a Full or Double page
​
Our system will track all deal redemption's that take place. At the conclusion of your deal, the credit amount earned will be yours to use for any future advertising you do with Holiday Happenings. Credit will be valid for 12 months.

2. FEES
2.1 It is agreed that all advertising methods mentioned in Section 1.1 & 1.2 will be FREE OF CHARGE for your business.
3. DURATION
3.1 Your commitment to providing a Deal on the Holiday Happenings App is for one (1) edition only.

3.2 Our commitment to advertising your deal and upholding the obligations referenced in section 1, is for one (1) edition only.
​
3.2 Each Holiday Happenings edition begins 5 weeks BEFORE a school holiday period and ends 3 weeks AFTER a school holiday period.
​
NOTE: If your business wants to provide a deal for another Holiday Happenings Edition you can do so under the same conditions.
4. APP ADVERTISING
Your deal will appear on our iPhone & iPad app within the dedicated listing that is created for your school holiday activity/program or event (see images below)

4.1 Holiday Happenings WILL also promote your deal through one (1) dedicated app notification that will be sent out to all "signed in" users.
4.1.1 You can request a particular day, time and message for your dedicated notification. If a request is not made prior to the release of content on the app, then Holiday Happenings reserves the right to send this notification at their own discretion.

4.2 Holiday Happenings MAY also choose to send additional app notifications containing information from more that one business and their deal.

​​​5. YOUR APP DEAL
When listing your app deal you have the flexibility to:
​
5.1 List up to 4 separate deals at any one time.
​
5.2 Limit the number of times a deal is available. (e.g. first 10 users only).
​
5.3 Provide customised terms and conditions for each individual deal (up to 70 words).
​
5.4 Customise the time period a deal is valid for.
​
5.5 Change or update your deal information at anytime (Ref to Section 6.1). Simply contact Holiday Happenings for any changes.
​
Note: All deals provided to Holiday Happenings will be reviewed for approval prior to being placed on the App.

6. YOUR OBLIGATIONS (As the business )

It is agreed that:
​
6.1 Your business is solely responsible for providing Holiday Happenings App users with any advertised deal that is successfully accessed/activated (and still valid) from your App listing.
​
NOTE: If you change or update a deal after a user accesses/activates it, as long as the original deal is still valid, you will be responsible for honouring the original deal with the user.

8. USER INFORMATION
10.1 In accordance with our privacy policy, your business will not be granted access to any personal information collected by Holiday Happenings through the sign up of app users or booklet readers. (See Privacy Policy at: www.holidayhappenings.com.au/privacy-policy)

Providing a deal to Holiday Happenings for users of our App constitute's acceptance of all the terms and conditions listed above.
Holiday Happenings reserves the right to change these terms and conditions, however will always inform your business of any changes prior to them taking effect.
