Who Are We?

Holiday Happenings was launched in 1997 with the helping hand of local government and the Minister for Education and Family Services.

Our priority was to assist in helping as many kids as possible to stay engaged and active in fun and healthy activities during their time away from school.

Our combined goal was to provide families of school aged children with a free, comprehensive and easy to read information directory on the many activities available for children during school holiday periods.

23 year on Holiday Happenings is as popular as ever and is every parents must read entertainment booklet in the lead up to school holiday breaks.

What do we do?

We take the stress out of keeping kids happily entertained during school holidays.

In the lead up to every school holiday period we publish a free kids activities booklet containing local programs, events and activities for kids.

Each edition see's 36,000 print booklets distributed to primary schools, secondary schools and a range of local pick up places.

We also publish an online digital version of each edition as well as provide quick and easy access to each editions content via our mobile application (for both iOS and Android devices)
